Audit Senior
Join our growing Audit team and work closely with Partners and Audit Managers to plan and deliver high-quality audit engagements while supporting and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Partners and Audit Managers with audit planning and strategy
- Identify key risk areas and determine the appropriate audit approach
- Complete audit assignments efficiently and to a high standard
- Manage and oversee on-site audit engagements
- Monitor progress against budgets and understand any variances
- Mentor, train and review the work of junior team members
- Build and maintain strong professional client relationships
- Identify areas for improvement in clients’ business processes and make recommendations
- Prepare Audit Completion Reports for client presentation
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent client service
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts and audit within a practice environment
- Good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (ideally UK GAAP)

Audit Semi-Senior
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will support Audit Seniors in delivering high-quality audits for a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Audit Seniors with planning and delivering on-site audit assignments across multiple sectors
- Identify risk areas within client businesses and determine the appropriate audit approach
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for limited companies
- Assist with corporation tax computations for review by the tax department
- Support and guide junior team members both on-site and in the office, reviewing work to ensure audit objectives are met
- Follow all internal office procedures
- Handle incoming telephone calls and messages as required

Accounts Semi-Senior
To prepare and assist accounts information provided by clients, to a standard set by the Institute of Chartered Accounts England and Wales, at a level ready for review by an accounts manager, with the ability to work independently, and as part of a busy team.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnerships and Limited Company Statutory Accounts to a level ready for review by Manager and in line with accounting standards
- Travelling to sites to visit clients’ premises if necessary to obtain information to complete accounts
- Support, assist and coach junior members of the team to ensure accuracy of work and improve knowledge and training. Within the team both in the field and in the office
- To follow all office required procedures in the delivery of accounts preparation
- Assisting with the planning & completion of accounts for a wide and varied client portfolio
- Undertaking a full range of accounts task including bank reconciliations, trade debtors, creditors, payroll reconciliation, Tax computations
- Assisting with the effective progression and completion of accounts tasks for final Manager and Partner review
- Working with the Managers to ensure the continued efficiency of the department
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Customer Service Delivery – dealing with queries and all forms of correspondence and modes of communications from and to clients
- Using CCH practice software for Accounts and CCH Business Tax
- Follow all office procedures and best practice
- Various ad-hoc duties across the department

Corporate Tax Senior
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, while providing an effective service on all corporate tax compliance and advisory matters.

- Manage a portfolio of clients including Owner Manged Business and large groups.
- Advising on completion of ATED and forms CT61 as required
- Review of corporation tax returns and computations prepared by junior members of the team.
- Provide corporation tax payment and quarterly instalment advice.
- Build relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service.
- Completing corporation tax file reviews and assisting the accounts and audit department with draft calculations
- Reviewing research and development claims
- Reviewing Capital allowance workings
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and advising on these

- Dealing with HMRC on client’s behalf

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As VAT Manager, you will be a confident and technically strong individual in dealing with Vat matters in the Practice environment. You’ll support clients across various industries, liaise with HMRC, and help drive the success of our VAT function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide VAT advice to clients across regional, national, and international markets.
- Maintain and update VAT procedure documentation.
- Represent clients during HMRC VAT inspections and enquiries.
- Conduct VAT Health Checks and other advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to over 250 users across the business.
- Assist end-users with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, users, and external IT suppliers to ensure a high level of service is delivered.
- Carry out routine maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues or anomalies to senior IT team members.
- Support wider IT projects and improvements as required.
Experience and Skills
Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:
- First-line IT support and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Networking fundamentals
- Understanding OF AD and user account management
- Basic knowledge of RMM tool and endpoint management
Experience with SQL would be desirable, but not essential. We are looking for someone with the right approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to develop their technical knowledge.
