Workplace pensions
Compliance Support for Auto Enrolment.
Auto-Enrolment, also known as workplace pensions, is a government initiative designed to increase the number of people saving for retirement. For qualifying employees, all employers in the UK must provide a workplace pension scheme. Businesses with employees are affected by Auto Enrolment, regardless of their size.
If you need help complying with the Auto Enrolment rules, our sister company, Pension-able, can assist.

How does Auto Enrolment work?
Auto-enrolment covers people between the ages of 22, up to state pension age, which is currently 66 for men and women. It is for people who work in the UK and who earn more than £10,000 from one job.
Employees must be automatically enrolled by their employer into a pension plan, if they are between the ages of 22 and state pension age, and are earning over £833 per month or £192 per week.
A worker earning £6,240 or less a year is also entitled to join the scheme, but you can choose whether to contribute to the pension scheme.
Even for smaller businesses with fewer employees, setting up a workplace pension plan can be complex and time-consuming. Our payroll team can set up and administer the pension plan on your behalf, liaising directly with your pension provider and uploading the pension data monthly.
Don’t Just Take Our Word For It
They have always treated us like friends, rather than clients, and that personal touch works extremely well for us.
“Ormerod Rutter has, and still does, unquestionably, provided impeccable service to our family business, DNB roofing LTD, for the last six years. The continuity of encouragement and support provided from the very first day to present, has been outstanding and they have successfully guided the business through not only the highs, but throughout the lows, especially the pandemic. They have always treated us like friends, rather than clients, and that personal touch works extremely well for us. We are so very grateful to them all at OR and could not recommend them enough.”
